Company Origins

Accomplished executives, with both practical and management experience in the energy services sector, incorporated E4E Solutions in 2007. Our goal then, and now, is to leverage our experience and utilize our relationship strengths for the development and implementation of innovative utility efficiency projects. Our consistent application of both proven and emerging technologies provides cost effective solutions. We believe that the strengths of our leadership combined with the talents of our engineering team, have created a company dedicated to client project success.

Josh Long

President & CEO

Mr. Long is the Founder, President, and CEO of E4E Solutions and is responsible for managing and leading the company’s operations & growth. He has over 25 years of experience, successfully managing the design, construction, and start-up of numerous sustainability and infrastructure modernization projects across the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe. His extensive project experience encompasses a wide range of manufacturing sectors, including Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices, Primary and Specialty Metals, Building Materials, Chemicals, Pulp & Paper, Automotive & other general manufacturing.

Bert Wesley

PE, Vice President

Mr. Wesley’s experience includes more than 32 years in utility systems, packaging, process and sanitary design, construction management, equipment troubleshooting, and startup for a wide range of industrial clients. Highly skilled in the specification, design, construction, and commissioning of utility plants and beverage & water treatment systems. Chilled water plant design and controls are one area of Bert’s specialty areas of expertise. Bert holds a Batchelor’s of Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate in Project Management, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

David Jacob

PE, Principal Engineer

Mr. Jacob has 30 years of engineering and management experience with architectural, engineering and services firms. He began his career as a mechanical and plumbing systems designer. As his career progressed, he eventually moved into the role of an energy efficiency engineer. Working for Energy Services Companies (ESCOs), Mr. Jacob has managed teams of engineers and construction managers to deliver turnkey energy conservation projects throughout the US and Europe. These projects have resulted in saving clients millions of dollars annually on their utility and maintenance expenditures. David is a licensed professional engineer in Georgia, Florida, and California.

Brian D. Strother

PE, VP of Engineering

Mr. Strother has over 30+ years’ experience as both a facility engineer and as a consulting and design engineer in the energy efficiency field. His expertise consists of industrial equipment and systems design and integration, including mechanical, electrical, and controls/automation, within the chemical, rubber, textile, pharmaceutical, fabricated metals, and food & beverage industries. Brian’s comprehensive background and execution of multi-million-dollar capital projects enables him to provide seamless engineering leadership, from initial assessment through design, construction, and commissioning.

Evan k. Bowers

PE, CEM, Principal Engineer

Mr. Bowers specializes in sustainability project design & delivery. Beginning as a co-op in manufacturing, Evan advanced to energy efficiency program implementation and complex design-build projects. Evan holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Tennessee Tech University, along with professional engineering licenses in multiple states. Evan’s project portfolio includes central plant modernization covering refrigeration, boiler, compressed air, and water systems, primarily for food & beverage, and protein manufacturing facilities. His expertise encompasses industrial controls retrofits and energy optimization, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Philip Johnston

PE, CEM, Principal Engineer

Mr. Johnston is a seasoned engineer with over a decade of experience in industrial decarbonization and energy efficiency. He leads the development and execution of innovative capital projects that deliver financial and environmental impact, within food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, metals, and commercial buildings, where he has consistently connected technical solutions to strategic business outcomes. He is a Certified Energy Manager and a licensed Professional Engineer in several states, holding a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Georgia Tech.
